For foreigners Ham Radio
Hi all hams around the world thank you for visit to our web site. First I would say that I write English not good.
Ok ,my nickname is Wut, stay in Krabi province south of Thailand. I am writing up a web site to publish the technical knowledge, electronic and antenna for Thai ham. In Thai page written about this is rare, Most ham site is a personal, club focus on news more technical text.
Most of Thai ham radio is a basic class approximately a thousand radio amateur can pass to intermediate class. The basic class can operate on 144-146 MHz max power 10 watts Only , I don’t understand what happens, this is long tradition. I hope some day would be increased frequency band and more power. (for EME and experiment ) Intermediate class can use HF band max power 200 watts but can’t operate on 6 meter and other ham band , ham from overseas to pass advanced if will be operate in Thai the government limited the right as the intermediates class in Thailand.
I love homebrew , electronic , build antenna and morse code. new ham usually do not like to create everything by yourself one of the reasons because a cheap radio and part from neighboring countries came to Thai it can be taken easily.
